Music City Animal Rescue (MCAR) is an all-volunteer (501) c3 foster home-based rescue. Founded 10 years ago, MCAR has rescued, rehabilitated and found loving forever homes for thousands of animals – not limited to just dogs and cats. They are not a breed-specific rescue. They also do not discriminate based on the age of the pet or physical limitations. They have also found loving homes for rabbits, ferrets, mice, chinchillas, goats, chickens, and horses.
“Every animal that comes into our rescue is fully vetted including spay/neuter and microchipping. They are placed in loving foster homes where their emotional needs are met as well,” said Vickie Harris, Director of MCAR.
Currently, MCAR is in desperate need of dedicated fosters/volunteers. They are also seeking an assistant to the director in the form of a Dog Team Coordinator. Fosters with MCAR are provided with everything they need — food, bedding, toys — you just supply the love! If you are interested in working with a small rescue organization with a HUGE heart for all animals in need, please contact the director, Vickie Harris, at [email protected]. You can follow them on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/MCAR2013) or Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/musiccityanimal/). For more information on MCAR, visit www.Musiccityanimalrescue.com
