Rainbows Over Tennessee: We Won’t Hide Our Pride

We are excited to lay out the pride festivals across the state this year. Get ready for a summer and fall filled with rainbows, glitter, and a lot of fun!

It’s pride season! We are excited to lay out the pride festivals across the state this year. We are also ecstatic to add two new Middle Tennessee area pride festivals to the list, four new festivals in East Tennessee, and to announce the return of Jackson Pride in West Tennessee. Get ready for a summer and fall filled with rainbows, glitter, and a lot of fun!

MIDDLE TENNESSEE

FRANKLIN PRIDE

Harlinsdale Park, Franklin

Franklin Pride is a one-day, family-friendly festival on the first Saturday in June. Established in 2019, Franklin Pride has continued to grow and become a staple in the Middle Tennessee community. The leaders of Franklin Pride have fought hard against attempts to stop the event and, along with community support, have won every time.

This year promises to be another festive day filled with music, food trucks, a kid zone, a teen zone, over 100 vendor booths, and a lot of rainbows.

2024 marks the 12th anniversary of the Upper Cumberland Pride organization! Join us on Saturday, June 8th, for a day of festivities!

All Upper Cumberland Pride weekend events are for ALL ages. Bring your family and invite your friends! The theme this year is “It Takes a Village.” Expect vendors, local community organizations, food trucks, a kids’ area, music, and performances.

Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, Nashville

The annual festival and parade is the largest LGBTQ+ event in Tennessee with an expected attendance of more than 150,000 people this year. The festival features over 240 vendors, food trucks, three stages of live entertainment with over 120 acts performing over two days, an extensive kids’ and family area, a youth area, art installations, and much more.

This year’s Pride Festival will be held on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Downtown Nashville. The weekend kicks off on Saturday, June 22 at 10 am with the free Nashville Pride Parade.

It’s time for RuCo Pride’s first-ever Pride Celebration! We invite all of Rutherford County to join us in celebrating everyone on the queer spectrum, including our allies.

C-Pride is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to bringing a Pride festival back to Clarksville, Tennessee. It was originally a support group, but has grown incredibly fast and will host the C-Pride Festival in 2024.

The annual Nashville Black Pride celebration is a multi-day event. There is a Legacy & Student Scholarship Awards Dinner for the Opening Reception on the first day and a vendor marketplace, day party, town hall, live music, and artist panels on the second day. The third day includes time to come together and a closing ceremony.

Celebrating 48 Years of Memphis Pride!

From a tradition spanning nearly a half-century, Memphis Pride has evolved from a modest picnic to a regional highlight attracting over 60,000 attendees and participants from all walks of life. Memphis Pride Fest Weekend includes the Drag N Drive, dance party, festival, parade, and a Drag Brunch.

The Pride Festival is a diverse and community-friendly festival that includes over 175+ vendors and exhibitors, a grand Pride parade, two stages with live entertainment including headliners, local musicians, drag artists, special guest speakers, VIP experiences, educational sessions, a kids’ area, and interactive activities.

Tri-State Black Pride showcases unity pride, human rights, education, outreach, arts, and culture while promoting equality and inclusivity. It brings awareness to HIV/AIDS. There will be educational sessions, a ballroom party, a drag brunch, a rooftop party, and a music festival.

Kicking off pride month with the annual Gatlinburg Pride starting at the lower plaza of Ripley’s Aquarium and Gatlinburg Trolley office up to the entrance to Ober Gatlinburg, cross the street, and march down the other side back to the Aquarium.

A community cookout/potluck picnic will immediately follow the conclusion of the Gatlinburg Pride March at the Mynatt Park Pavilion.
