Rainbow Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Celebrates Opening of Voce Speech Therapy in Bellevue

Voce Speech Therapy features services inclusive of neurological disorders, gender-affirming voice training, and pediatric speech therapy.

NASHVILLE, TN – Voce Speech Therapy held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the new Voce Speech Therapy clinic in the Bellevue area.

The Tennessee Pride Chamber of Commerce facilitated the ribbon-cutting with the clinic’s staff, family, and supporters in attendance.

As its first location, the clinic offers an array of speech-language pathology services that serve clients of all ages with an inclusive, affirming, and patient-centered focus. In addition to the in-person services, Voce Speech Therapy also extends telehealth services for all clients residing in Tennessee, and adolescent and adult clients residing in Florida and Ohio.

“We are thrilled to offer high quality, accessible, and client-centered care to the Nashville community,” said founder and director Kristin Jones. “As a parent of three children, two of whom are neurodivergent, I have a unique understanding and perspective both from personal and professional viewpoints. This translates to a clinical approach that encompasses truly affirming and compassionate care. Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, establishing a clinical environment of cultural competence was extremely important to me.”

Voce Speech Therapy features services inclusive of neurological disorders, gender-affirming voice training, and pediatric speech therapy. The clinic will soon offer toddler and preschool language enrichment groups, and occupational therapy services.

Features of the new clinic include:

  • Adult and child waiting areas
  • Lending library
  • Private consultation room
  • Private adult and child treatment spaces
  • Feeding therapy treatment space
  • Sensory gym
  • Small outdoor treatment space
  • Gender inclusive restroom

“We strive to create a therapy space and program that is warm, personal, and meets the client where they are,” said Jones. “To us, this is one of the best ways to facilitate and maximize results.”
