Nashville Scene, USA Today and The TODAY Show’s featured artist Bryan Ruby joins BBR’s Brooke Eden for Preds’ Pride Night Game Presentation
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators’ 9th annual Pride Night has tapped rising country music trailblazer Bryan Ruby to play the Bridgestone Arena’s Band Stage on Tuesday, April 9. In collaboration with Nashville Pride, the night spotlights local LGBTQ+ businesses, creatives and non-profits. Ruby’s nonprofit, Proud to Be in Baseball, will also be highlighted for its work with LGBTQ+ youth in baseball.
The game will open with a national anthem performance by BBR’s Brooke Eden, a breakout LGBTQ+ artist, dubbed a “fiery country star-in-the-making” by Billboard, a “Next Big Thing” by MusicRow Magazine, and named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country.
“We are so excited to have Bryan performing at the Nashville Predators’ Pride Night on April 9,” said Tina Tousignant, Nashville Pride’s Community Outreach Chair. “Bryan’s rich vocals and authentic storytelling are impressive, but his dedication to the LGBTQ+ community in Tennessee is truly an inspiration. Nashville Pride is incredibly grateful for his advocacy, musical talents and steadfast support of the queer community.”

Ruby is set to release his highly anticipated EP “Found and Lost” later this year. Fans were given a preview into his raw and authentic breakup journey with the release of the EP’s country/rock heartbreaker, “Goes Without Saying”. The single was performed live at a special release show called “Bryan Ruby’s Broken Hearts Club” on the night before Valentine’s Day at The Lipstick Lounge in Nashville, TN.
This heartfelt mid-tempo ballad, crafted by the talented lyricists Nell Maynard (writer of “Blueneck” by Chris Houseman and “Runs In The Water” by Royale Lynn), Kelli Rachel Schilken and Cassidy Reeves Best, delves into emotional yearning for the past and the bewilderment experienced when a partner chooses to leave without explanation. Known for his poignant storytelling, Ruby infuses the song with his signature style, evoking listeners to reminisce about their past heartaches while finding comfort in the shared experience of human vulnerability.
Bryan released his debut EP, “Diamonds Are Forever,” in 2023, which chronicled the stories of resilience and the relentless pursuit of excellence he experienced over five years playing at the lower levels of professional baseball. The EP was named a “Recent Release You Don’t Want To Miss” by the Nashville Scene, where writer Rachel Cholst declared, “Bryan Ruby has a honey-bourbon voice that was destined for country music… Ruby’s astute songwriting and his inviting voice makes bold change and independence sound like plain common sense.”
