Nashville, TN – The Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NAHCC) and the Tennessee Pride Chamber (TNPC) have reaffirmed their commitment to fostering economic opportunity, business development, and advocacy for diverse small businesses through the ratification of an enhanced Cooperative Inter-Chamber Agreement at the NAHCC’s 26th Annual Membership Meeting, held Wednesday, March 12, at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
Building upon a strong foundation of collaboration, this renewed partnership aims to expand certification opportunities, enhance financial literacy programs, and increase access to capital for minority-owned businesses and entrepreneurs across industries.
Key Commitments Under the Agreement:
- Business Certification Support – Expanding access to certifications that create new contracting and growth opportunities for diverse entrepreneurs.
- Financial Literacy & Capital Access – Developing joint programs to equip business owners with financial management skills and funding resources.
- Minority Chamber Coalition Strategy – Strengthening chamber funding access, civic engagement, and business certification pathways to foster long-term economic success.
- Cross-Chamber Networking & Events – Providing reciprocal access to networking events, educational programs, and mentorship opportunities.
- Advisory Board Representation & Collaboration – Establishing ongoing dialogue between chamber leadership to align business advocacy and best practices.
“Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy, fueling innovation, job creation, and long-term growth,” said Yuri Cunza, President & CEO of NAHCC. “This strengthened partnership reinforces our commitment to ensuring that all entrepreneurs—regardless of background—have access to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to succeed. By investing in small business communities, we foster economic resilience, drive local prosperity, and create a more vibrant and sustainable future for all.”
Stephanie Mahnke, Executive Director of the Tennessee Pride Chamber, added, “The TNPC and NAHCC partnership is a long-standing agreement of solidarity, acknowledging now, just as it had at the beginning, that it is critical to support inclusive business and economic access for small businesses of all backgrounds. We proudly renew these commitments and look forward to working across chambers to fulfill our aligned vision.”
The ratification of this agreement took place during NAHCC’s 26th Annual Membership Meeting, a key event where business leaders, government officials, and entrepreneurs convened to discuss NAHCC’s strategic plans, financial outlook, and initiatives for 2025-26. The event also featured the introduction of NAHCC’s newly elected and returning board of directors and the Growth and Opportunities for Small Business Roundtable, hosted by the NAHCC Foundation.
