Got Juice?

If you haven’t heard of Juice, you need to immediately look them up and find a live show near you. They played up close and personal at the High Watt this past Saturday night and were on point! I love hearing live music that sounds just as well as a recorded version and Juice brought it home with smooth vocals and perfect harmony not to mention the funk and groove rhythms coming from the drummer, bassist and guitarists. They all had mad skills and anyone who can mix in an electric violin, sing, and rap gets an A+ in my book.

Juice led with the soulful sounds of “Look My Way” from their debut album that was released in 2016. The crowd was immediately drawn in to the hypnotic sounds of the electric violin and introduced to the vocals of lead singer, Ben Stevens, whose unique sound and style continued to mesmerize.

They cranked up the crowd three songs in with their catchy hit, “Dave (turn the music down).” Christian Rose, violinist and vocals, took the lead on this song and emitted a profound energy that quickly brought in the crowd.

From song to song, the energy stayed high and they kept the crowd engaged. They actually have quite a following. There was a couple of fans all the way from Rhode Island who have seen Juice perform 11 times now and I quickly discovered why.

Out of Boston, Juice consists of seven members: Ben Stevens [lead vocals], Michael Ricciardulli [guitar], Rami El-Abidin [bass], Christian Rose [violin, vocals], Kamau Burton [acoustic guitar, vocals], Daniel Moss [guitar], and Miles Clyatt [drums].
