Dining Out For Life® Returns April 20

We invite everyone to dine in, take out, or order curbside-delivery from their favorite participating restaurant on Tuesday, April 20.
Editor Connect 4 years ago 2 min read

Nashville, Tenn. – Once each year Nashville CARES partners with area restaurants to support its mission to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee. More than 40 and counting restaurants are participating in the 19th annual Dining Out For Life® presented by PhRMA. We invite everyone to dine in, take out, or order curbside-delivery from their favorite participating restaurant on Tuesday, April 20. A portion of the bill for each meal, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, will go directly to Nashville CARES, which is not only working to eliminate HIV, but also provides lifesaving health care and services to thousands of its clients.

An added benefit to this year’s Dining Out For Life® event is each meal purchased also supports participating restaurants and the staff who have been impacted during the COVID pandemic. The 2020 event was canceled due to the tornadoes that cut through a large swath of Middle Tennessee and the COVID pandemic and that’s why we’re especially pleased to partner with area restaurants this year.

Nashville CARES serves more than 50,000 Middle Tennesseans who are at-risk or living with HIV. 95 percent of every dollar raised goes directly to client services, including nutrition, transportation, housing & utilities, behavioral health and numerous other critical services to those who come to Nashville CARES for support. In addition, we recently opened My House Clinic, an inclusive primary care health center that also specializes in sexual health.

For the most up-to-date list of participating restaurants, please visit diningoutforlife.com/nashville. If you’re unable to participate on April 20, and would like to contribute to Nashville CARES’s mission, you can do so by clicking the donate tab. More information about Nashville CARES can be found on NashvilleCARES.org.
