A group of friends enjoy colorful drinks at a lively gathering, promoting the "Dining Out for Life" event in Nashville on May 1st.

Nearly 80 Restaurants Join Forces to Support HIV Prevention and Compassionate Healthcare

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – Nashville’s most meaningful meal returns on Thursday, May 1, 2025, as Dining Out For Life® unites nearly 80 restaurants across the city in support of Nashville CARES, the region’s leading organization providing education, prevention, and compassionate care for those at risk for or living with HIV.

This year’s Dining Out For Life® – Nashville is presented by NPS Pharmacy, with additional generous support from Cadence Bank, The Nashville Scene, The Nashvillian, St8mnt Brand Agency, Sherrard Row, and Nashville CARES Immediate Past Board President Beth-Ann Martorello.

Throughout the week of May 1, restaurants across the city will donate a portion of their sales to Nashville CARES — turning everyday dining into life-saving action. Some of Nashville’s favorite establishments are donating significant portions of their sales:

  • 100% of sales: D’Andrews Bakery & Café, The Lipstick Lounge, Kase x Noko
  • 75% of sales: Germantown Pub, Epice, International Market, Kalamata’s, Lola, Santo, Fenwick’s 300, Fleet Street Pub, East Park Donuts & Coffee
  • 50% of sales: Black Abbey Brewing, City House, Frankie J’s, Hometeam Pizza, International Market, Margot Café & Bar, Miel, Turmeric and Co.

This year’s campaign is especially meaningful as Nashville CARES enters its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of service, advocacy, and impact in the fight against HIV.

“Dining Out For Life is more than a fundraising event—it’s a statement of solidarity, visibility, and action,” said Nashville CARES CEO Amna Osman. “By simply enjoying a meal out, our community helps us provide life-saving healthcare, prevention services, and wraparound support to those who need it most.”

Media partners for this year’s event include: Outfront Advertising, Connect Magazine, Blackbird Media, DO615, WPLN, The Mix 92.9, and WKRN.

Dining Out For Life® is a national event that takes place in more than 50 cities across North America, raising millions of dollars to support local organizations in their efforts to end the HIV epidemic. Nashville CARES is proud to lead the local effort, working every day to promote health equity and access to care across Middle Tennessee.
