FROM THE PUBLISHER
Let’s get creative, shall we? I love being creative. I’m the person that gets an idea and goes to buy all the things, but then never finishes the project. Alas, I know I’m not the only one, but the folks we feature in our Create issue definitely finished the project and then some!
Take Thomas Kelly of Creative Soulz Printing, he took his love of creativity and turned it into a successful print business. Or Bo Robertson, who has had immeasurable talent as an illustrator since he was a child.
We also talked with Christin Baker of Tello Films who is on a mission to change the roles of queer characters in television and film. We know we only touched on a few queer creators because there is a whole lot of creativity in this world. LGBTQ+ people tend to be more creative in my opinion.
Speaking of creativity, you don’t want to miss our 2nd Annual HoliGAY Market taking place on November 9. There you will find a plethora of LGBTQ+ and ally creators showcasing their masterpieces.
No matter your creative passion or otherwise, we encourage you to reach for your dreams!
Lastly, I would be amiss if I didn’t shout out to our very own creative and talented graphic designer for our magazine, Brian Goins. Brian is reaching for his dreams with a new job and we will definitely miss him. We wish him all the best!
