NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville Pride has announced the appointment of Nicholas Gulick as the President of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term. As President of the Nashville Pride, Gulick will be responsible for Board leadership and supporting the organization in the planning, developing, and implementing the Nashville Pride Parade and Festival.

Nicholas Gulick, a native of McMinnville, TN, currently works as the Director of Development for OZ Arts and Principal Empowerment Coach at Nicholas Gulick Coaching. Gulick has served on the Nashville Pride Board of Directors since 2021 and most recently served as Secretary of the Nashville Pride Board of Directors.

“I am deeply honored to assume the role of President of the Nashville Pride Board of Directors. I look forward to working with our Board of Directors to ensure Nashville Pride continues to be a space where LGBTQ+ folks can be authentically and vulnerably themselves–not only during Pride month but year-round,” said Gulick.

Working alongside Gulick, the Nashville Pride Board of Directors has appointed Dakerri Rhone as Vice President and Brady Ruffin as Secretary of the nonprofit LGBTQ+ organization. Mac Huffington, who served as President of Nashville Pride for two terms, will serve as Immediate Past President.

Building upon the resounding success of Nashville Pride 2023, which hosted a historic attendance of over 125,000 people and the honored presence of First Lady Jill Biden, Nashville Pride 2024 is scheduled to take place on June 22 and 23, 2024, at Bicentennial State Park.

About Nashville Pride: Nashville Pride is a nonprofit organization focused on creating community and hosting events for the Nashville and Middle Tennessee LGBTQ+ community. A celebration recognizing the past struggles and future possibilities of the LGBTQ+ community, Nashville Pride works to achieve equal rights for all LGBTQ+ persons.
