We at Connect Media Group are disheartened that Governor Lee has signed anti-LGBTQ+ laws this week restricting drag shows and banning gender affirming care.
While this is a tremendous setback for what should be the simple right to live our lives, we know this isn’t over. This is a blatant misdirect of our rights as citizens. We encourage everyone to continue watching the Tennessee Equality Project (TEP) for guidance, the ACLU and other organizations. We encourage you to reach out to your transgender family and friends. We encourage you to reach out to our Drag Queens. We all need each other right now. Together, we will prevail. Together, we will get into “good trouble.”
